How to Unpublish or deactivate your Facebook Page
The public can view published and active Pages. The public, including those who like or follow your Page, won’t be able to see your Page if it is unpublished or deactivated.
Until it is published or reactivated again, the public won’t be able to see your Page. If you have full access to a new Page on Facebook, you can deactivate or unpublish it at any moment.
To deactivate your FB Page:
- Click your profile picture in the top right after logging into Facebook.
- Select the Page you wish to switch to by clicking See all Profiles.
- In the top right corner of Facebook, click the profile photo of your Page.
- choose Settings, then choose Settings & privacy.
- Click Privacy in the left menu, followed by Facebook Page details.
- Click View to the right of Deactivation and deletion.
- Follow the instructions to deactivate your page after selecting Deactivate Page and clicking Continue. Your password will be required
To reactivate your Facebook Page:
- Navigate to your main profile, click at the top right of Facebook.
- Choose Settings & privacy, and now tap Settings.
- Select Privacy, then tap Your Facebook Information.
- Now select Reactivation, then next to the Page you want to reactivate, click Reactivate.
