01. The Why
NiWARD is a prominent organization dedicated to empowering Nigerian women in agricultural research and development. With over 200 fellows, mentors, and mentees across Nigeria’s six regions, NiWARD focuses on bridging gaps in the rural agricultural sector by fostering peer-to-peer knowledge transfer and implementing targeted empowerment policies. Their initiatives aim to reduce hunger and poverty, promote gender-inclusive research, and contribute to sustainable agricultural development in Nigeria.
02. What we did?
- The existing website lacked a user-friendly interface, making it difficult for visitors to access information about programs, events, and resources.
- There was no efficient system for managing membership applications and inquiries.
- The site was not optimized for mobile devices, limiting accessibility for users in rural areas.
03. What we did?
- Built the website to feature an intuitive navigation structure, ensuring easy access to information about NiWARD’s programs, events, and resources.
- Developed a membership management system to streamline applications and communication with members.
- Implemented a responsive design to enhance accessibility across various devices, including mobile phones and tablets.
